| We
have found that people often wish to make donations to the
Edmonds Fire Department. Many gifts are made in memory of
a special relative, neighbor, or friend, while other gifts
are sent in honor of someone. Some residents give contributions
in appreciation of the care or services they received.
The Department gratefully accepts donations.
With your gifts, our Firefighters and Paramedics are able
to acquire the tools and training necessary to provide a superior
level of service to our customers. Contributions are used
solely to enhance emergency services within our community;
no portion is used to administer the donations fund.
If you would like to make a contribution,
please make your check payable to
Edmonds Fire Department and mail to:
Edmonds Fire Department
121 Fifth Avenue North
Edmonds, WA 98020
You will receive a letter to act as your
receipt. We will also send an acknowledgement letter to a
surviving family member (or the person or organization you
are recognizing). Please include their name and address.

Edmonds Fire Department at 425-771-0215. Thank you.

The Edmonds Fire Safety Foundation was organized
in 1996 to further community education and accept donations
in support of the Fire Department's mission, goals, and objectives.
The Foundation's first campaign raised funds
to purchase an Argus Thermal Imaging Camera. The hand-held
system allows firefighters to see in absolute darkness in
a smoke-filled room, enabling them to see otherwise undetectable
"hot spots" and detect the presence of fire victims.
The Foundation, a non-profit corporation,
continues to work closely with the Edmonds Fire Department,
pursuing fund-raising activities that further fire safety
and fire prevention in the community.
If you would like to make a contribution,
or desire more information about the Foundation, please contact
information@edmondsfiresafetyfoundation.org,
or 425-776-1596. Thank you.
