Fire, EMS, and Fire Prevention Services |
Effective January 1, 2010, the City of Edmonds entered into a 20-year Interlocal Agreement with Snohomish County Fire District No. 1 (SCFD #1) to provide fire, emergency medical, and fire prevention services to our City. Under terms of the Agreement, SCFD #1 staffs the City’s three fire stations 24/7. The fire stations are located in Edmonds at:
One Battalion Chief serves the City, and each City station is staffed with one Fire Captain and two Firefighter/EMTs. Station 17 on 6th Avenue is also staffed with two Firefighter/Paramedics. The SCFD #1 Fire Chief is designated as the City Fire Chief and the District also provides the City with a designated Fire Marshal and Fire Inspector. The Fire Marshal (425-771-0213) and Fire Inspector (425) 775-7720 offices are located on the third floor of Edmonds City Hall, 121 – 5th Avenue North.
